The Weytens brand of the original manufacturer Intertrailer NV (operated by Luc Weytens) has been taken over by the manufacturer VDM Trailers at Pelt.
The trailers are produced and assembled in the same way as in past decades, but now under the name of VDM Trailers instead of Weytens-Intertrailer.
With the acquisition of the unbraked trailers of Weytens by VDM Trailers, the range has also been expanded with several new models such as the mini transporter (both in single axle and double axle versions), the closed trailer with white panels, and the luggage trailer.
